Hose winches are used for pumping water from marine platforms, where the submersible pump set is put underwater by a winch and the seawater is transported to the platform through the hose by the submersible pump. The pump position can be adjusted by the winch at any time without stopping when working. The electric winch is responsible for the lifting and lowering of the submersible pump set and hose, the pump tube reel will wind up and store the lifted hose when the electric winch is lifted, and the pump tube reel will release the hose synchronously when the electric winch is released.
The hose winch is driven by electric motor, and its mechanical part consists of electric hoisting winch, pump tube winch reducer and open gear, pump tube reel device, electric slip ring, water slip ring, guiding roller, wall frame base and so on.

1. Equipment Details: Skid mounted hose reel system for delivering Seawater to offshore Jack up drilling rig through a compact flexible hose/conduit deployed from a streamlined reeling system. This system provides an effective means of storing, lowering and retrieving hose with standard electric submersible pump attached. The pump is attached to the feeding end of the conduit / hose, and lowered into the water by the delivery reel and turned on with electric rig power. The electrical cable runs along with the hose. The reeling system should be easily operated by one worker and should be suitable for mounting on the side of the Rig main deck or existing Raw water tower entry for easy installation and maintenance. The system optimizes the use of limited space because of its small footprint, and minimize weight, without compromising safety and efficiency. It is single Reel System i.e. Reel stores hose, electrical cable and safety wire rope eliminating need to synchronize multiple reels.
    
2. Hose: Design shall be suitable for operation during high wind condition in the Indian Ocean. Equipment shall be suitable for use with the hoses partially reeled on the drum and part of the hoses off the reel and in the water. The average life of the hoses shall be 3 years or longer.
    
3. Frame: The hose reel drum is mounted on a heavy-duty, robust oilfield type of skid suitable for marine environment that can be welded / bolted to the main deck directly. Frame designed to support the entire length of hose full of sea water, Electrical Submersible Pump with motor, two multi strand Copper conductor electrical cable braided and sheathed of size 3 C x 35 sq mm etc. All bearings should be provided with lubrication points. The skid, frame, flanges and drum shall be of heavy gauge steel capable of withstanding marine environment. Frame includes lifting eyes.
    
4. Drum: The drum designed with an optimum diameter to minimize the footprint without compromising the functionality or strength of the frame. It supports hose and keeps it in tension. The drum itself is constructed of standard carbon steel. It accommodates a flanged connection further connected to a Swivel at the end. A mechanical locking device should be provided to lock the reel on deployment. The drive train designed to provide enough torque to support the pump, hose with full of water and accessories.
    
5. Outlet Swivel Joint: The swivel joint (rotary coupling) allows the reel to rotate freely, while connected to the salt-water source through the hose system.
    
6. Painting: 3-coat paint Suitable for marine and offshore environment as per Oil field standards in vogue.
    
7. Control Panel: Stainless steel box for Sea water Pump set of 125 Hp On/Off switch with Plug assembly which simply connect and disconnect power to the pump before raising or lowering the reel. Also control panel for hoist Reel operations as per motor ratings.
    
8. Equipment Approval: Design Assessment certificate by ABS/BV/DNV/Llyods/IACS agency regarding suitability for installation on ABS class vessel.

2. System Specifications:

Vendor to provide the equipment in consideration of following factors. Design responsibility lies with supplier.

Pump Motor: Submersible pump of 125 Hp motor, 400 M3/ hr flow rate, 60 mts head with 8 inches 1 D discharge shall be connected with Hose Reel. The supply of water Pump-motor set is not included in this scope. ONGC will provide the same.

Connector: The Stainless-Steel adapter/ connector for connecting Hose to pump discharge of 8" ID. Appropriate flange of 8" ID is to be provided by supplier.

Hose length: 140 # 150 ft

Total Water flow cross sectional area # 25 sq inch minimum.

Hose Pressure Rating: Should be suitable for the flow rate & Pressure in the said working condition .

Safety cable: About 160 ft long High strength stainless steel safety cable / wire rope, used as a safety line to be attached to the pump on one end and secured with eye on the other end.

3. Installation & Commissioning:

1. Vendor shall depute OEM"s service engineer for supervision during installation.

2. All charges viz mobilization/ demobilization of service engineers to/from Mumbai and back, local conveyance, lodging, boarding at Mumbai etc will be borne by the vendor.

3. Commissioning at site shall be certified by OIM / Engineers at rig.

4. OEM's service Engineer shall impart basic operation & maintenance training to the operating crew on the rig during commissioning.

Q 1:What kinds of payment terms can you accept?

Q 2: What trade terms can you accept?
We normally trade with our customers in EX-Works, FOB, CFR and CIF. Delivery ports can be Qingdao, Shanghai, Tianjin, Ningbo, Guangzhou.

Q 3: How about the lead time?
Delivery time of standard lifting cranes is 7days after payment; As to customizied lifting equipments, lead time will be about 15-30 days, which depends on which type equipments you need. If your order is very urgent, we can do you a favor to meet your delivery time.

Q 4: How about the transportation?
We will suggest you the best shipment method according to your goods volumn and weight. We usually deliver equipments by sea, which is much cheaper than by train and by Air. It also depends on clients' decisions. We will try our best to help you.
